After a 10 hour long flight I finally arrived in Bangkok this morning. The flight was terrible, as I was barely able to sleep. I do not know how people do it, I just cannot seem to find a comfortable position that will allow me to fall asleep. Sitting up and sleeping just dont go together with me. So far it has been rainy but I am not giving up hope, the weather will just have to change tomorrow. We spent the day walking around in the city and trying to avoid getting screwed over by some of the locals who just see us as big dollar signs. You constantly have to watch out so that you dont get screwed over which is quite exhausting. On the other hand the food is amazing, I do not know how I will be able to eat fruit in Holland ever again, there is just so much more flavor in everything. Here are some snapshots from today.
